Maxxport are specialists in Russia’s luxury fashion market. Offering a comprehensive portfolio of services, we take care of all sales and marketing processes on behalf of our clients in their target markets. Mandatory Product Marking - 2020
In December 2017, the Russian government decided to develop a national product marking scheme to protect manufacturers and consumers from counterfeit products. The aim of the labelling scheme is to ensure that only original products are imported into and sold on the Russian market, while also enabling consumers to obtain detailed product information. Marking will be introduced gradually for specific product categories, with labelling being mandatory for all products by 2024.
